Jessie Horning has taught printmaking, drawing, and art history classes at Ohio State University, Columbus College of Art and Design, and Capital University. She currently works as Assistant Professor of Teaching and Area Coordinator of the Printmaking Area in the Department of Art at Ohio State University.

In 2011 She earned her BFA in Printmaking from Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, then worked as the Teaching Assistant of Printmaking at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She completed her MFA in Printmaking at Ohio State University in 2017. Horning is committed to utilizing printmaking practices that are sustainable for the health of the artist and the environment.
